      Good salary, good benefits, depending on work you may get to have some independent say but more so just with day to day activities you can work it out yourself

      Cons

      Lots of meetings, management all over the place in terms of personal & professional personality type, very much focused on education so if you are anything but PhD you won't get anywhere, not much in the way of personal development, a bit too much micro management from some

      Pros

      Excellent work life balance. Appraisals are good though not transparent. If you have "good relations" with boss no one can stop you from succeeding.

      Cons

      Middle management enjoys by absorbing benefits and passing pressure to lower level. Favoritism is inherent, no common mission to work on. More managers than required.
