Pros

No need for interview Some of the people who worked with me was very friendly. Depends. Work can be easy if you get used to it. Have many different races working together so no racisim from my pov. People were friendly to each other.

Cons

As I was working in that factory afew yrs back, I didn't realize i was working like full time like 8am-6pm despite being a part-timer. So, i received a part-timer pay about like $6 perhour while working ~ 9hrs, (Mon- Fri i think? ). This is probably my fault for not checking the contract properly before signing it. I was just very excited for my first time since i went with my friend. This line of work can get very boring. Apparently occasionally, the boss (i think )will do a surprise check i was only told that after my co worker happen to see me looking very sleepy 1 time and the boss(i think) saw me. Was immediately put into red zone. They value speed over quality for checking the products whether it got dents, dirt inside, weird batch numbers or not. Unless it's very giant and absolutely visable other then that, they say it's okay. Btw 1 box have probably like 100±? Tiny bottles As i was in the red zone, my supervisors would watch me how i check the quality. My co workers are able to take more than 10 tiny bottles in their hands and scan thru it very quickly and put thwm into the boxes while if i were to take more than 4 bottles they would tell me i am not supposed to do that. And they tell me i am slow.( wow i wonder why). Overall they did fire me for a good reason and i agree with that but those above mentioned, i dont agree with those. Also read your contract properly.

Pros

Products to try every month

Cons

I don't know what has happened in L'occitane over the last 2 or 3 years. But this was a company I was proud to work for. But it became like many places a cash cow. Money over staff. I was useful for the dirty work eg, closing with no experience. Covering shifts. Deliveries. Absolutely no opportunity to advance in the company. I was useful until I wasn't until they made up some bizarre accusation when I was actually quite ill and fired me.
