Pros

Great opportunity to learn excellent selling techniques if you hope to go into sales. They have very specific steps to selling that they ingrain in their employees, and they carefully monitor your interactions with customers to ensure service continuity. They send employees to several all-day training sessions to learn about new collections and skin care.

Cons

Corporate site visits often have unrealistic expectations of customer service, especially during holiday season when both employees and customers are burnt out from the retail environment.

Pros

-products are fantastic. Natural ingredients and farm to jar philosophy -50% off discount and gratis with every campaign -beautiful stores

Cons

Everything else.... -poor work-life balance. Forget you ever had a personal life and just work all the time even on days off! Expect to work through your lunch break, pull 6days/week and good luck taking vacation when you want! Kiss weekends goodbye completely! Also, expect that most days you will definitely work 9+ hours -high expectations and low pay. You are expected to meet ridiculous sales goals and with very little staff hours. Bonus structure is a joke. You'll be offered less pay upon hire and told bonus will balance this out - not true! Raises are very low also, even if you reach your goals. -disorganization from head office. Everything is so last minute with real lack of foresight. Promotions, campaign changes and events all thrown together at the last hour -high work load with little support -constant emails/phone calls everyday which detract from selling I could go on and on but I'll stop and just say consider how much you value your time before you join this company!

Pros

- Great Brand with amazing products - up to 50% staff discount - thorough product training all paid - great working environment - if you are lucky you still get some nice incentive new products to try - you will improve your selling and customer service skills. - good pay for retail

Cons

- staff members even working for as many as 5 years don't really get acknowledged for their work, no support for any kind of promotion or growth within the company, unless you are willing to suck up to the management. - unrealistic sales targets and lots of pressure - sometimes you stay over time and don't get paid for it - lots of pressure for selling selected products regardless whether it is suitable for the customer or not - have to bother customers calling them trying to get them into the store to boost sales!
