Pros

Kroger (or most stores, at least) do an awesome job of hiring great people. I started working with Kroger when I was 16 and stuck with it through college and beyond. It can be such a family-like atmosphere that keeps you invested.

Cons

Management, whether at a store, district, or division level, is often misaligned. As an assistant store manager, you're expected to complete your role while also knowing (and often doing) every other job in the store. Add that in to them often over using top talent for other roles and special projects across the district, poor work-life balance, and low compensation makes it difficult to maintain a positive view of the company and your job.

Pros

not working Monday through Friday, so you are able to have days off during the week for appointments ect.

Cons

absolutely everything, want vacation, good luck getting it approved, also they will tell you when you are hired it is about 40 hrs a week, no its 32 one and 36 the next, so think about that before you leave your current job, oh and the company treats you just as crappy as the patients you see, and you are always wrong no matter what so don't even try.

Pros

You have a job, so that's good.

Cons

You may be paid well, but do not feel appreciated. Too many policy changes too quickly, and all to make more money for the company, not to benefit the ones doing the brunt of the work. Not to mention they pay out their bonuses at a time undisclosed until a few weeks before, and if you're not working there anymore, despite having worked there THE ENTIRE BONUS PERIOD, you will not be paid. Yet another way for them to keep more money.
