Pros

big company, good brand name, many smart people, good resources

Cons

because it's a big company, you can feel lost at times. The company is a pretty classic corporate environment - a little empty, primary motivation is making money, so that's not necessarily a company issue. Pay is standard - you can negotiate. It's really case dependent who gets paid more or less, but overall, it's just a very standard pay situation. All in all, it's just a very stereotypical large company. It's not horrible and it's not amazing. It's very hard to generalize because it's so big, so just be reasonable in what you expect.

Doesnt do what it preaches

Pros

Flexible working hours Home offices Work life balance somewhat works

Cons

This company fails to practice what it preaches. While it advises other organizations on effective policies, it does not apply the same standards to its own employees. Merit-based salary increases are virtually nonexistent, despite the company's consistent year-over-year success. Management avoids addressing this issue entirely. As a result, employee compensation falls significantly below the market median, arguably in the lower decile or quartile. This approach is actively undermining employee motivation and their commitment to performing at their best. Ironically, for a company that consults on structuring effective pay policies, there is no clear or consistent compensation policy in place. Employees are left hoping for changes that may never materialize. This issue has persisted for years but has worsened in recent times.
