Pros

Exceptional at selling the firm's strategy (full service 'Human Capital') to capitalize on accelerating market opportunity (knowledge worker talent). Many talented people but, in the long run, disheartening to see many of them adjust to what the culture requires to succeed.

Cons

Observable, pervasive and consistent lack of integrity (They tell their clients to do one thing/ They do the opposite in their own company) It is the worst culture I've ever seen up close and this includes working in the financial, legal and pharmaceutical industries for over 20-years A very bad place to start your career because you will acquire beliefs and habits about how to progress your career that will most certainly get in the way elsewhere. Better to go to Deloitte, McKinsey, BCG. Buyer beware: Do your research and distinguish between paid propaganda the company puts out and agnostic resources like this

Pros

Ample access to state of the art technology; however, good luck with trying to keep up with the ever changing tools. Brand name recognition would probably be the only pro.

Cons

Where to begin??? As the headline of this review states, "Corporate Monster", the umbrella covering the ridiculous and untransparent practices. Redundant meetings with leaders who only care about themselves, not the employees, i.e. hold meetings to talk about their upbringing, how they got where they are, etc., like anyone asked. Go write an autobiography, no one cares and it's not a motivating tool when underlying insults based on class status are thrown in the mix of relentless egotistic banter. The KPIs are absurd and management is worse, nothing is EVER good enough. The culture megaphone is, buy up every small consulting company in the world, one at a time. Make everyone from those small consulting companies feel "welcome" with false promises of hope by not telling them what's actually going on (lack of transparency). Constant fear of job status regardless of job performance (insert Xanax prescription). Again, Corporate Monster.

Pros

It's a good brand to have on your resume and almost anyone you reach out to will take your call no matter the topic. They also generally don't care where you work from as long as your considerable work is done.

Cons

This is a toxic place to work. I’ve seen "entrepreneurial" in a lot of reviews, and you need to know what that means: there's no centralized strategy, everyone is fighting for resources, and the company is a collection of partner fiefdoms that have competing agendas. The only people who are successful have strong personal networks of people that can sign contracts. What this means: you need to be a well-connected, wealthy, and have sharp elbows. Also, while they don't care about where you work, they do expect that you are "on" at all times including weekend, vacations, weddings, and funerals. A note for LGBTQ+ talent: run. The LGBTQ+ affinity group only seems to exist to fill out the HRC application. The firm doesn’t communicate support for LGBTQ+ issues (except one token post during pride month), the firm doesn’t have any out leaders, doesn’t promote or develop LGBTQ+ employees, nor do they include LGBTQ+ in their diversity investment or data strategies. In fact, I’ve been told by one of the leaders of Korn Ferry’s “Power of all” that LGBTQ+ talent is not part of the diversity conversation at this time, so the firm doesn’t plan to invest.
