Pros

One of the best things about working at Koch Business Solutions are the people. The people here are great and will help you succeed if you work hard and ask for help when needed. Humility goes a long way here. KBS give you so many opportunities to work with other Koch Companies and expand your knowledge. Your career possibilities are endless if you work hard and focus on creating value. The MBM principles are not just a picture on our wall, they are principles that we value and demonstrate in our day to day work. KBS is not for everyone. It requires hard work, determination, critical thinking, accepting failure, challenging the status quo and a passion for customer focus. The great thing about KBS and all other Koch companies is you are compensated for the value you create, not by the length of time you have worked there. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a career that is challenging, yet fulfilling.

Cons

KBS is constantly on the lookout for talent, but is very selective about who they hire, which at times causes teams to be down a few people.

Pros

There are many opportunities for advancement at Koch. The sky is the limit if you have the ambition to succeed. Bi weekly discussions with your supervisor to discuss performance and career development opportunities

Cons

KBS does a good job at innovation the only downside it the time it takes to implement.

Pros

The culture that is created is great. Lots of hardworking individuals, no one person slacks off. The environment that the service desk has created is not that of a typical call center. There are multiple opportunities to move within the organization and accept new roles in the current position. In my 6 months alone nearly 10-15 employees have moved up in the organization position wise. Working with KBS gives you the benefits of working with Koch. Lots of employee discounts and opportunities to serve a community with the Koch banner. Customers are great and easy to work with and most understand the system/compliance issues that come up working with a service desk. I've learned a lot about personal career growth and look forward to learning more in the future.

Cons

The job focuses a lot on compliance and keeping up with standards. Not much wiggle room on how to treat you customers. Pay is based on experience, considering this is an entry level position out of college, you aren't going to make much money. Employees with more experience come in making $4-6,000 a year more than you will. - Raises are hard to come by in certain situations. Turnaround appears to be high. Feedback is used for EVERYTHING, sometimes it can be TOO much though.
