Pros

Nothing good to mention, completely waste of my time. I learnt nothing and was feeling sorry of myself and my colleagues since managers are not competent at all.

Cons

Undefined role and responsibilities, luck of structure and organization, management lacking basic management skills and have no idea how to coach a team.

Pros

They pay decent, but certainly not top scale for the industry. Many good people work at Koch Pipeline, especially in the Minnesota area. Good benefits, with a company-paid pension after you've worked there 5 years. Market-Based Management model is a solid business practice, if executed properly.

Cons

Nearly everyone I worked with in the Minnesota area is unsure of their job security. Management (in MN) operates on fear. They want you to think that you are not safe in your job unless you stay at the top of your game ALL the time! I know many employees are constantly looking for other jobs, in order to get out of there before they get fired. They do a great job of making good people feel like they are just not good enough. I thought it was a great career move for me when I was hired at Koch. After being there a little over 2 years, I realize it was actually a terrible career move for me. In the 2 years I spent there, I saw at least half the people I worked with either get fired or quit. The money is not worth the way they treat their employees.
