      Pros

      As long as you learn the MBM game, you will have great job security and management will put you into a supervisory role regardless of your technical knowledge that falls within your subject area.

      Cons

      -MBM is used as a crutch in the absence of true technical knowledge -There are more supervisors than truly needed -Supervisors do not have a true pulse of the organization and how dissatisfied the majority of the workforce is. -No accountability of management -Senior leaders need to retire and bring in upper management from the outside, otherwise the culture will never change

      Thank you for the feedback! I agree one of the best parts about working at Koch is the diverse groups of businesses and people that we come into contact with every day! I was disappointed to see that the internship did not prove as positive as we would hope! We have over 200 interns every summer and we pride ourselves on a stellar program. Some times we miss expectations and we need to know that, so thank you. We continue to find ways to get interns more looped into Sr. leadership and I hope you took advantage of those meetings and events while here. Interns are assigned a mentor for the summer so I am not sure what happened in your situation, but that is a base expectation. Again, thank you for sharing your experience! Katie Schuckman HR Manager

      Small but Awesome Company

      Pros

      They are a small company so you can really see the impact of the work you do! Very nice management, very open and often communication between lower level employees and higher level employees, up to the CEO.

      Cons

      I felt it difficult to work without much structure. Being so small, every day is different and my personal preference is a little more structure.
