Pros

Koch is striving to be a company that sets themselves a part by understanding culture and people make and break companies. The guiding principles are not just words on a wall. Mr. Koch is inspiring and believes what he says. It really can be great a great experience. There are many manager and supervisors who strive to build their teams and help them grow. The potential is there depending on leadership. I have had the best manager and the worst manager of my career both at KBS. I have seen that when MBM is applied, it encourages and engages employees and when it is not, it can be just like every other bad version of corporate America.

Cons

I have had been disappointed in seeing experiences of leadership failing to follow through, failure to take accountability, lying, failing to lead, participate in bullying and creating an environment of mistrust and hostility internally within the department. External to the department is a failure of leadership to demonstrate team mentality and working together to achieve common goals. This in not globally true of the company. The pockets where it does exist, it shouldn't.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very disappointed that this was your experience. As employees of a Koch company, we have a clear responsibility and must have the courage to ask questions and raise concerns about compliance or ethical behavior. These concerns seem serious and we would encourage you to talk to someone. Options for asking questions, raising concerns and getting guidance are: • Your immediate supervisor • Any member of management • HR, or compliance • Contacting the GuideLine Also to remind you that we have a No Retaliation Policy which prohibits retaliation, retribution, or harassment when an employee comes forward in good faith to report a concern or ask a question. We take all feedback seriously; we listen and continually work to improve where needed, striving to create a consistent environment throughout Koch based on integrity, respect and all of our Guiding Principles. Thank you again for bringing this forward, the good and the bad, we know that takes courage. Kristin Webb Vice President, Human Resources
