      What not to do!

      Pros

      It's a job! Helps pays the bills. Only if your in management.

      Cons

      There are many. Too much of process and not enough managing of anything. To do your job you have to touch and revisit product so many times you don't have time to use the bathroom, let alone take a lunch break. Management is not real happy with you when you take a day off, that they scheduled! Too much "micro managing" all starting at the top. You as a manager cannot drive to work and plan your day in the car, because when you get to work there are 30 emails telling you to do something else. You NEVER get your job done!

      Pros

      The benefits are that the atmosphere is less stressful than some other retail outlets I have found, for example target is a bit more restrictive. The business has been slow which can make it easier on sales staff-less bustle but thats not a good business model.

      Cons

      There are quite a few downsides to working for K mart. While working there for a short amount of time, I had quite a few supervisors switching around. the managment turn around was very fast. This makes it hard for the floor staff.
