Pros

There were no pros to working for K-mart in Milledgeville. The only good thing that came from working at this job was making new friends (who quit around the same time I did).

Cons

Bad Management No staff support Last minute call-ins Poor disciplinary action Management was rude to both customers and employees Scheduling for hours or time off was difficult Given menial tasks when customers weren't around (which was a majority of the time)

Pros

Descent pay, clean store, honest living, the manager was pretty social and wasn't annoying like most and the pay was descent .

Cons

It wasn't that bad of a job but you had to be willing to step up and work quicker if someone called in

Pros

Working at Kmart is pretty simple. It pays a even salary between all types of associates so that there is balance.

Cons

Kmart is disorganized. There is no nice way to say this. HR sucks at giving hours. If you ask for time off, you will most definitely be scheduled to work that day. They allow customer service reps to rule over the cashiers although the make the same amount as us and were most likely a cashier just 2 days ago. There is little room to move up in pay scale and is pretty much an entry level job.
