Pros

Decent benefits, but limited right now due to the economy, willing to work with you if you really need time off for personal situations, depending on manager it could be a great experience

Cons

Too much variance in direction, poor training, company flip flops on important standards, and focus changes too much. Sears has too much influence and does not know how to run a low priced mass merchandiser. They want to run it like their own department stores, even though they are having trouble again.

Pros

Managers willing to work with your school schedule and allow for time off requests. Easy to apply.

Cons

Force you to pressure customers in to any promotions they have going on, march of dimes, rewards cards and credit cards. They schedule you depending on your numbers, and if they are low you will constantly be reminded and given horrible scheduling. Customers will constantly complain to you and demand to be left alone about the promotions.

Employee discount Flexible scheduling Good for someone who does not want to advance in life Get to see what is coming out in the ads first

Cons

Store is old, dirty, needs work. Management sits in the back office and are not seen on sales floor Merchandise is just strewn through out the store. Too many related people working there, cousins, sisters, brothers, moms and dads Over zealous loss prevention.
