-Horrible pay wages for the company in my opinion for the fact that the company CEO recently purchased an ISLAND in early 2012 -No communication with managment in store -No health benefits, barley any benefits at all -The registers are old, big and bulky and move horribly slow. They kept adding updates to these old computers which is something they SHOULD NOT keep doing. Instead, they need to purcase NEW registers because if you keep adding things to old register all they will do is freeze and crash. This happens to me everytime I work and the customers, as well as myself, get very sick of it. -The ShopYourWay Rewards system always crashes and this make customers furious as well. -HR likes to schedule people to work everyday for only 4 hours which is a waste of time, gas, and energy. Its especially irritating for the folks who have to take the bus to and from work. Whats the point in that?? -Corporate pushes Sears Credit Cards waayyy to much. At one point the employess would get write up if we didn't get enough credit cards or if we didn't recite the whole ''credit card pitch" to each and every customer the CORRECT WAY. Nobody wants to be asked WHY they DON'T want to apply for a credit card. -The discount is very bad. It's only worth using at Sears. At kmart, if something is on sale you wont get a discount and even if it isn't the discount still sucks. (10 percent) This is barley good enough for just a part-time job. The stress that comes with this isn't worth it. Especially for 7.40 an hour.
