      Read this before working for Kmart

      Pros

      I was employed with my high school friends so it made it fun at times. The customers were great! I still have friendships with my old regulars.

      Cons

      They would change my schedule at last minute (the day of when I should have been off), I wouldn't get my breaks, I was forced to work two hours over my shift or else I "would lose my job". There was a lot of job threatening. If I didn't do something they would threaten to fire me because I didn't do what they wanted me to do. I also got written up for being sick even though I had brought in doctor's notes.

      Pros

      you get 10 or 20 percent discount on items there. your co workers are friendly.

      Cons

      Management dont care about you, they want you to do everything. When the store gets busy the managers are no where to be found. The computer systems are so old, they are always freezing up. and you always have to reboot it. The credit card machines are jacked up.
