Pros

Autonomy & Ownership: You are the true owner of your problem space. If you enjoy navigating complex structures independently, you will thrive here. Steep Learning Curve: Because you have to navigate complexity yourself, you learn new skills very quickly. AI Adoption: The company is leading the way in AI. It is integrated everywhere, and you are actively encouraged to use it. Dynamic Work: You will never be bored. You wear multiple hats and are constantly tackling new challenges.

Cons

Questionable Culture Shifts: The recent removal of diversity-focused Slack groups (e.g., Pride) is a confusing move that signals a concerning shift in company values. Union Avoidance: There is a perceived strategy to wind down or disadvantage offices with strong labor protections (like stop hiring in Berlin) in favor of less regulated regions (like opening a 'tech hub' in Poland). Chaotic Strategy: Priorities change daily. It is common to be near the release of a project only to find product specs have changed without communication, requiring stressful last-minute rework. Political Environment: Career progression is driven by internal politics ("playing the game") rather than merit. The "no budget" excuse is standard for individual contributors, while managers still get promoted. Leadership Bias: The CEO’s public support for specific political figures feels alienating to many. Decisions often appear driven by the founder's personal whims rather than data.
