Pros

Teaching and working with children is very rewarding , can be challenging at times, but for most part it was very enjoyable position.

Cons

Kindercare has high turnover rate and many teachers call out a lot ! As an employee who showed up every day and on time , enjoyed my kids and my classroom, to never get a raise.... in three years ? Unfortunately this company not interested in keeping good people that actually had good intentions and work ethics. It could be so much better... but district management only cared about putting pressure on center management for higher enrollment numbers , not how children were being cared for.

We are so sorry you had that experience – you’re absolutely right that education and the care and safety of our kids is our number one priority, and that starts with well-intentioned, hard-working teachers. We all know that teacher pay is in crisis across the nation. We do collect data of our average teacher salaries compared to the national average. We are evaluating how we can improve teacher pay and well being through our Total Rewards program. Today our Total Rewards program offers a full spectrum of programs to support physical, emotional, and financial well-being. Our goal is to foster a supportive workplace where you can learn, grow, and thrive professionally, and feedback like yours helps us continue to improve upon how we grow as KinderCare. Thank you, Derek Talent Attraction Manager
