-puts numbers over everything else -over-enrolls classes -inconsistent shift hours -biweekly pay -allows little creative freedom in classroom arrangement -always short-staffed -higher ups have little to no experience in childcare themselves -few opportunities to work overtime -holds every center to the same standards despite states having different class sizes
