Pros

Being around the kids & interacting with their families

Cons

Very high-school, gossip-girls type environment. Most employees are unqualified and very young with only a high school degree, I witnessed several time where they pay more attention to their phones than actually watching or attempting to even teach the children. Teachers constantly talk bad about each other, the director and even the kids/their families behind each other's backs etc. Also, there is no cleaning company so they rely on whatever teachers close that day to make the facility spotless; needless to say, that is not their job so it doesn't get done - resulting in an even more unclean and dirty center. Mold is under carpets and instead of fixing issues like this, and like many issues they have, it's simply covered up and concealed. Parents are lied to about everything - from what their child ate to if they have a good/bad day. Director will change a teachers paper for a specific child behind that teachers back of it doesn't say the child had a perfectly wonderful day, which is NOT what you want as a parent. A parent wants the truth, not some sugar coated lie about how their child's day went. I've even witnessed employees forget to give a child a bottle in the infant room, yet they are instructed to just write it down as if they did anyway. From the infant room to the older kids (4-5 yr old) this place is a lawsuit and disaster waiting to happen. Also, kids are CONSTANTLY switched from room to room, making them nervous and upset on a weekly basis. Ratios are a struggle to maintain every day, the center is understaffed terribly yet they keep enrolling more children simply for the money. A child need consistency and routine to feel comfortable and that is something that is very lacking at Kindercare centers! Very sad to have to see families and children upset so often due to this. They make look like it's been a great easy fun learning day when you pick up your kid, but trust me it was insane. Stressful and nothing but moving your child from room to room, and then they put on a big show when you go to pick them up, do not trust them!!

Pros

The children are great and some of the training was nice.

Cons

Management is so focus on bringing more children in they don't connect with their employees. There is no room for growth. Takes them too long to promote people. Be prepared to float around from classroom to classroom in the beginning

Pros

Sweet kids, great families and tight staff team

Cons

Center Directors are abused, forced to work long days and weekends, constantly criticized and forced to push classes together to keep ratios up and cut teacher hours. They're exoected to perform miracles and get a million things done in the center with no help and no extra hours from teachers.
