Pros

People are helpful and approachable. Peaceful environment without dramas of office politics. International law firm with plenty of initiatives implemented to care for the development and well-being of its employees.

Cons

Billable hours may be unrealistic for fee earners. Interaction between departments is scarce unless there is get-together organised within the firm.

Pros

Good culture, work life balance and flexibility (but depends on the team/ partners’ preference). Reasonable billable target.

Cons

Does not match payscale of other UK firms. Bonus is negligible. No motivation to work any harder because of the small bonuses/annual increment in pay (and high performers are paid a similar amount compared to a low performer). Poor firm management. Lack of structured training.

- People are friendly - Try to be positive - Take on people with little experience - Can be flexible to working hours when needed

Cons

- No progression - No support from staff - Favouritism is very noticeable (one rule for one but not the other) - Being told work is wrong but no support correct it - Training is applauling - Company doesn't pay well at all
