Great culture, work life balance and interesting work. Best Senior Partner who really cares about fee earners and business services staff

Cons

Some IT issues (but who doesn't have those) and frequent desk moves, but otherwise a great place to work.

1. Open plan office is simply a bad idea - contrary to what the trend is now. 2. Pay is low compared to other law firms with the same industry focus and specialisation. 3. Billing targets are unrealistic - and it should not be the junior associate's responsibility for failing to hit billing targets when there's not much work/caseload to begin with.

Colleagues are lovely. Free tea and coffee.

Cons

Senior management that don't have a clue what they are doing or what you do. Therefore offering no guidance or support. Fighting a constant uphill battle to complete tasks that management do not understand due to their lack of knowledge of their teams role within the company. 360 reviews that are used anything more than an HR tick box excercise. Issues and concerns fall on deaf ears, concepts for improvements the same.
