Great place to work depending on your team!

Pros

Some lovely people here, great work life balance for secretaries but dependent on your team, flexible/supportive dependent on your team, free breakfast and rewarded with nice gifts from the firm such as chocolates and prosecco and £100 voucher. Great work from home equipment grant and support.

Cons

London office awful and miserable place with no canteen/lunch area so have to eat at desk (new office later this year hopefully better), salary could be better and stupid ticketing system brought in to monitor secretarial staff. Kennedys not sure if they want secretaries or not it seems.

Bullying culture Discriminatory behaviour Superiority complex with many of staff members no consideration of cultural differences and will make difficult for them to expand in some markets.

Big Law Hours and Expectations, But Mid-Size Firm Pay

Pros

Most attorneys and support staff here are nice people. The firm embraces flexibility in terms of working remotely and start/end times.

Cons

Billable hour requirements exceed those of many Big Law firms, yet the pay is much lower than what one would receive at a Big Law firm. This firm also specializes in insurance law. The work is demanding and not very rewarding.
