Pros

Smart and knowledgeable people research ops

Cons

Management is out of touch with what clients want to hear. Rely on tactics that work for selling houses or life insurance. No real plan for on-boarding new sales staff. Schedule a few meetings with staff but not helpful with managing multiple CRM systems.

Pros

Worked in Kantar Worldpanel for 2 years with the LinkQ service (now I think it has another name but it's the expert solutions functions that handles surveys) - Stable environment to work within - Lots of access to resources - An agency a lot of people trust and believe in - Access to a unique dataset that most agencies don't have

Cons

- Repetitive templated work - You're trained to give templated responses, not to find the truth - The machinery of the business works slow, making change happen it liek puling teeth - No real need to do interesting work or think creatively through problems
