Pros

Great place to work if you are hourly and need work-life balance. Lots of flexibility and a big benefit package. Lots of fun at work place.

Cons

Supervisors are overworked and underpaid. They are not making Hampton Roads minimums. If you are a VP or an hourly employee life is great.

Pros

Kantar Media is overall a good company to work for. They have a reasonably good benefits package (pension, health insurance, 28 days annual leave etc) and they are quite flexible with working hours. The work is varied, and people are nice.

Cons

The company is part of the WPP group, which is very financially driven. Occasionally salary increases or bonus payments get delayed if things aren't going as well as expected in other parts of the group, which is incredibly frustrating when your own company is meeting or exceeding objectives.

Some areas are better than others.

Cons

At Westgate, operations and call centres rely on local catchment area for staff, leading to long term lifers or people who leave quickly after realising their mistake rather than enthused quality staff, they hire temps by the day. Very political environment, need to watch your back as rumour mill and gossip rule the day. Money goes to sales, who promise clients the moon with the company not being able to back it up short of panicked scrambling last minute to find relevant talent. infrastructure, back office, IT etc. left as distant 2nd place. Hangar lane is an awful, godforsaken place.
