Kansas State is full of wonderful, super-nice people, so working with them is awesome. I'm a student employee at the Rec, and we are constantly receiving applications from students wanting to work for us. It's a fun job and you meet tons of people. I've been working for the Rec for four years now, and I'm not going to quit until I graduate.

Cons

It's paid by the state, so you aren't going to walk away super rich.

None. I do not find any cons to working here. As long as you are comfortable with a smaller city, you should fit right in here.
