Avoid This Place – Zero Training, Unrealistic Expectations, and Shocking Treatment
Pros
NOTHING. Avoid this place at any cost.
Cons
I worked at KIKO Milano in London as a Beauty Advisor, and I was shocked at how unprofessional and disorganised the entire experience was. I was laid off after just four days— not because of anything I actually did wrong, but because the management has no system, no training, and completely unrealistic expectations From day one, they gave absolutely NO training. No product knowledge, no sales guidance, nothing about store standards. They simply pushed us straight onto the shop floor and expected us to magically perform like experienced staff. It felt like they wanted results without putting in *any* effort to train or support new employees. After four days, they told me I “wasn’t making enough sales.” How can someone make sales when the company didn’t even bother to teach basic procedures or product info? They also claimed my bathroom breaks were “too long,” even though I took only one 5-minute bathroom break during a full shift and I was dealing with a urinary tract infection at the time. I still pushed myself to work and didn’t take extra breaks, but instead of showing any understanding or basic humanity, they used it as an excuse to let me go. The management’s attitude was cold, inconsistent, and honestly quite degrading. It’s clear they only care about numbers, not people. The turnover is high for a reason. If you value your mental health, job stability, or being treated like a human being, do NOT work at KIKO Milano in London…This company will throw you onto the floor with zero support and then blame you for their own lack of training. Worst experience I’ve ever had with an employer.
