Business Outlook
Pros
Diversity of business and opportunities to move around and grow. Pockets of the old wonderful company exist, but things are changing at an incredible pace. I suspect that is the case at many places and J&J is simply following a larger overall trend. I'm not saying that J&J is not a good place to work, but comparatively speaking it's not the same place it was even 5 years ago.
Cons
Massive outsourcing far beyond what is practical, particularly IT, HR and Finance. IT decision making is largely limited to the CIO and her leadership team as opposed to a more decentralized model where local VPs had the ability to make the best decisions for the business they supported.
