Pros

Johnson Matthey is a good group to work with. 5-Days week and relaxed environment. Indian administration is helpful and caring. Only positive if see for JM India is the environment is healthy and very positive.

Cons

In India UK management do not have much role. Because of tiny size, growth opportunists lacks here here. Internal transfers within India are not feasible. Although it is a MNC but in India it works like local company. Employees do not get much knowledge about global business of company.

Pros

Great people to work with! Very much like one "big family" when you work there and even after leaving I still have contact with my former colleagues and they're great! I visit there occasionally and they're always very welcoming, almost like I never left! Great place to learn for me since I was afforded a lot of flexibility to grow in my own role. Healthcare benefits are superb! Wayne location is great, KOP mall near by and Valley Forge. Compensation and Bonus package is pretty good. When promotion are done, 99% of the time they are for people that deserve it and it makes you feel like management really does recognize great work.

Cons

Promotions are hard to come by, but they do exist. Vacation/Sick leave for US employees is not that great. Some union workers don't care about the job that much and make sloppy mistakes which make it harder for you to do your work. Also costs the company money.

not many, everyone has something to say about each other. lots of gossip goes on in the departments which makes it difficult to just do your work like you are supposed to. i was a temp before i got hired on and they did not do ANYTHING nice for temps. they do different activities ie: bowling, Christmas party, etc. and did not invite the temps which I found extremely rude. Temps work just as hard as regular employees and deserve to be recognized for their efforts.

Cons

feels like high school. the HR team is totally unapproachable and rude. every departent manager hires people from their previous jobs and favors them. no work-life balance.
