Pros

Super agile, young team including leaders Everyone’s fast, focused, gets things done Very customer driven, no fluff!

Cons

Doesn’t feel like a global MNC..more local in vibe! not really multi-cultural! Office setup and culture are less polished. Not much emphasis on global exposure or travel readiness Even leadership feels more local than international

Pros

Global Exposure – Working at Johnson Controls offers opportunities to collaborate across regions, giving valuable insights into international business operations. Structured Processes – The company has well-defined systems and SOPs, especially in finance and payments, which help streamline work and reduce ambiguity. Learning Opportunities – Access to internal training platforms and cross-functional projects can support career development, especially if you're transitioning into treasury or financial management. Work-Life Balance – Many teams offer flexibility and a supportive environment, which helps maintain a healthy work-life balance

Cons

Limited Career Progression in Certain Roles – Some functions, like PTP Payments, may have slower growth or fewer internal mobility options unless you actively seek transitions. Bureaucratic Decision-Making – Being a large organization, approvals and changes can take time due to multiple layers of management. Compensation Could Be More Competitive – Salary and benefits may not always match industry benchmarks, especially for niche finance roles. Technology Gaps in Some Areas – While some departments are modernized, others still rely on legacy systems which does hinder efficiency.
