Pros

The mentors are really nice throughout the process and very helpful.

Cons

The process takes more tan 3-4 weeks, which would be ok if you at least got a reason as to why you don’t get hired or really stayed in a sort of waiting list to be hired… to be honest, all reply’s from the mentors seemed like just a “copy-paste” to which they only change they name and reply to everyone. During the interview, the person is really nice but you don’t even get feedback after it, and as I mentioned, they won’t even tell you a solid reason why you didn’t get they job and they even say you can’t re apply for any position with them… I don’t think it’s ok since your abilities and experience can change or you can be a better match for other position. I also believe that offering not even a minimum USA salary while working FOR A USA company it’s disrespectful.

Pros

The concept of remote work is very appealing, also earning a decent salary.

Cons

This form of employment is unreliable amd very risky. The job is always advertised has a long-term role however, They make it very clear in their contract that they can drop you at any time and they will not be held accountable. Also there are not many roles open to South Africans so the matchmaking process is very risky as well.

We are sorry if our application process made you feel uncomfortable, by no means that was our intention. We do offer long-term positions, which count with terms and clauses as in any other company contract, but we make sure to portray our responsibility and legitimacy towards all of our virtual assistants. At the moment we are only able to hire from Argentina, Colombia, El Salvador, Mexico, and Honduras.
