Pros

You have a huge earning potential as overtime is plentyful.

Cons

Overtime is mandatory and often. You better know everything about how to navigate JetBlue departments because management won't help or doesn't know either. Your managers have no management experience and are promoted solely on how long they have worked for JetBlue. Nothing you do will be noticed unless it's negative. If you are an underachiever this is your job, you will be given raises for just showing up to work.

Pros

Travel benefits and gaining entry level experience. Use the work experience to apply to Delta. Yes, the grass is greener on the other side.

Cons

The sense of culture and community is dead. Be prepared for extreme burn-out, low morale, and gaslighting by management. Your mental is not important to JetBlue. This company violates Federal/State workplace laws. Beware of taking FMLA leave. They will terminate while on active leave! Yes, regardless of Federal/State protections. Management will intimidate you to resign and involve their Lawyers to scare you. There is a history of Crew Members who fought back, and were ordered by a Judge to be reinstated. Paid upwards of 400K for damages/wrongful termination. They love NDA's. ;) JetBlue targets Senior Crew Members as a strategy to cost save. They will hire someone new to preform the same job for much less. Starting pay is $18/$20hr for Inflight. The Union can only do so much to "protect" you. Management leads with "You're guilty until proven innocent." Sexual Harassment and Hostile work environment compliants are ignored by Crew Relations and Managers. Issues are swept under the rug in order to protect their reputation. For example: JetBlue was aware of one of their Executives misconduct (rants of shaming people of color/homeless people) on Twitter. Yet, this Executive was promoted and not disciplined. Crew Members have the receipts and will expose to the media in due time. Corp. Comm. you should probably draft up a statement for damage control. There is zero flexibility with scheduling. Critical coverage dates are manipulation and control. You are only a number to Crew Services. Your identity is insignificant. And, what's up with Pay Roll consistently scamming Crew Members from money they earned! It happens every pay period like clock work. I can go on and on, but I'll leave it here. You'll experience it for yourself.

Pros

- Working with fellow co workers is truly a pleasure - Union Contract

Cons

- Company does not value front line position staff - Position lacks flexibility ( do not apply unless you are okay with working a minimum of 100 flight hours a month with minimum days off ) - No quarterly or yearly bonuses starting 2022 - Leadership, scheduling and upper management consistently violates Union Contract ( when quoting the contract they will instruct you to file a grievance vs following the rules agreed upon )
