Pros

-A lot of fun social events to get to know people cross department -Flying for free is an amazing perk -a lot of cool benefits like stock plan, 401k, gym, etc -work life balance is really great. The work from home arrangement is very flexiable

Cons

- management decided to outsource most of its engineering to india leading to a ton to technical issues and challenges. -flying for free is good but it's only if you can get a seat so you'll have to go on trips during off peak times which really isn't always ideal. Good luck getting most anywhere in the summer or on the weekends. -Not a ton of advancement there's three tiers of software engineers junior, regular, and lead. There's not a lot of openings so moving up is hard. -jb doesn't pay nearly as much as other engineering jobs because you can fly for free

Pros

Infligh/flightt crewmembers are the best things JetBlue has

Cons

1) Leadership is disorganized in every way you can imagine 2) Diversity at JetBlue is abysmal. At its headquarters, Director-level and above CMs are almost all white. 3) JetBlue promotes its "Caring" value a lot and while inflight/flight crewmembers practice it, the crewmembers at the headquarters do not. Beware of backstabbing and gossiping leadership.

Pros

Work from home Flight benefits

Cons

Micromanaging Extremely strict with your hours (can’t miss a minute of your shift you have to make up for every missed second) You have to always be on your phone in order to trade shifts, read emails, training, taking time off, etc. this is a 24/7 job. Super annoying you can’t take vacation u less trading and even on vacation you are required to read all the emails and be up to date with everything. There’s never a break. They got a new software that sucks. You cannot trust the program if you need to take time off. If it fails due to system error, managers are not willing to help out and you basically will get screwed with your hours and compliance. Have to be adding lots of notes for each call (adding notes in two different programs is super annoying and time consuming and they expect you to have a low talk time).
