Horrible management

Pros

The pay is well but the amount of stress this job will put the body under during a 11 hour shift with no days off for 6 days straight is hardly worth it. Find something else don’t get sucked into this place.

Cons

Management is horrible. When I applied through a temp agency they said there might be mandatory overtime during “peak” season (mid November through December). The regular shift is 4 10s, that went up to 6 11s after two weeks. Nonstop work, not one manager or PR gives a crap about the kind of pain working that much can cause to you and if you even think about leaving early because your legs are in excruciating pain they will be very heartless about it. They don’t care at all and they will take joy in making you feel bad for leaving. Or just try to guilt trip you into staying. The last two months I haven’t felt comfortable talking to a single manager, I truly mean not even one. I am very clearly just a temporary work horse they are paying to do a job. Not one of my 4 other jobs have I ever felt so under appreciated or in life in general. Jet will work you as hard and long as they can with no assurances to whether or not you’ll get to keep the job. You get 5 points or 5 days off. If your under 55 minutes late it’s half a point, anything over an hour is a full point. During the peak season I mentioned before there’s no circumstance at all in which you can schedule a day off to avoid a point. You have to take a point. 30 minute lunches for an 11 hour shift is just disgusting. I could go on but I’ll leave it at that.

Pros

Great benefits and pay, friendly staff, great peak season rewards and incentives

Cons

They do not stand up for their employees during their time of need, even after working through 4 hours of a severe kidney infection, nauseated, running back and forth between the bathroom and my cart, just to make sure I was still doing my job. Couldn't even function enough to get halfway home and it took my grandmother 4 hours just to find me... That's how much I over worked myself while being VERY ILL, but sticking through it... And still when I am in the ER the next day, I am emailed and told I am terminated. I worked very hard for them! If they showed more appreciation towards their employees, they would probably have less of a turn over rate and a better group of employees, maybe even long term.
