Pros

Jacobs offers a flexible schedule. Instead of having separate sick leave, all time off is put in a PTO category, so if you don't get sick, you get an extra week of vacation each year.

Cons

There's no room for advancement. Management is incompetent, and most have no management skills to speak of... There is incredible disparity in salaries. When problems arise, they believe assigning more extremely highly paid people at it to fix it, and when those individuals fail to help matters at all, nothing is done.

It's a fine place to work if you want to work 9-5 every day with no career progression.

Cons

Horribly undervalue semployees for a company that goes by "People are our greatest assets."

Pros

Good colleges, challenging projects, project diversity.

Cons

Very poor management communication forcing Chinese whispers. Shareholders come way above staff. Constant billability pressure or for the chop, no time or money allowed for training, pay-freeze across the board.. except the board who all got pay and bonus rises. Pay freeze continuing despite massive profits, again, staff sacrifice for shareholders.
