Business Outlook
Pros
Very competitive pay, including overtime for exempt employees if completing billable work. Potential to be involved with interesting, meaningful projects.
Cons
Lack of employment stability. If considering Jacobs, be sure to fully understand the Company Convenience Leave of Absence policy and its application. If work slows down, you might find yourself unemployed very quickly. Business measures are structured to reward counter productive behaviors. While recently improved, cost of benefits offset the competitive pay to a fairly significant amount. Local pockets of poor leadership - probably applies to other large corporations as well. Significant overhead burden.
