Jacobs reviews

I worked for Jacobs for almost six months and by six months I mean they laid me off one day shy of getting my paid time off. I feel this was a deliberate action so they would not have to pay me for it. They bought out my company inside Eastman chemical company and then they sold out within this six months. They have let go almost everyone that worked for my old company even thought they state that they are a non biased and fair company to work for. I worked hard, nearly never missed work and still got the boot just a few days away from Christmas no the less. They care very little about employees and like most big time companies are only concerned with the almighty dollar. What ever happened to the American dream and working for a living? Never consider working with them.

Very poor management at various levels and public belittling. Many respectful managers have either left or had their positions taken from them in the past year. Some bullying by senior staff completely ignored by managers and HR. Graduate programme absolutely disgraceful, merely an excuse for free labour and brainwashing. Poor salarys and no potential to progress. Extremely negative environment. Forced to use lunch breaks for meetings and training sessions. Far too many graduates and continuous stress applied to graduates with unrealistic expectations. Very high staff turn over and my water/environmental department was a terrible place to work.
