Pros

1. I am able to work on interesting and varied projects in both private and public sector work. 2. Management is stable and does not make quick or rash decisions. 3. Company has an excellant reputation in the A/E industry.

Cons

1. Sometimes there is a lack of communication from mangement. 2. Since Jacobs is a pubically held company at times mangement is more focused on short term goals than long range goals such as employee retention.

Pros

Prestigious name in the community, Easy to network, PTO, safety culture, if you have a money making dept, you'll get paid well

Cons

Benefits are expensive for such a large co, don't always hire from within and bring in inadequate people, standards are set for some but not all, hard to get respect as a woman, technology is slow and usually behind the norm, if you work in a dept that is functional and doesn't make money....good luck.

Good Pay Opportunities for A players Supportive Environment. Never felt left out to dry.

Cons

Poor Benefits (where are they good anymore?) Moving up requires entry into 'the club'. You have to be mobile and not a complainer.
