Started out as a CH2M HILL employee that got bought out by Jacos. There are a lot of good people who work here, but if I had to do it all over again I would have stayed away. They started as CH2M Hill but got bought out by Jacobs due to bad business decisions by one of the last two CEO's. I don't have anything to say good about them. They don't walk the talk. Diversity is key.

401K contributions are horrible Upper management care only about Gross Margins Growth within the company is limited and seems more like a good ole boy network

-Many projects and opportunities to take on new projects and learn new technologies -Great relationships among individual contributors within IT

Cons

-Unrealistic expectations from the business that project upon project can be added to IT workload without any additional resourcing; even for temporary project backfill -Failure of middle and senior management in IT to set realistic expectations and champion the companies biggest asset - PEOPLE -Major lack of culture and personal empathy within IT. The company as a whole does well, but this does not extend in IT. -No opportunity in annual review for peer or 360 reviews of management. Many managers are in place by default due to longevity in the company.

The Pay is competitive if that’s all you care about

Very poor management. Sink or swim. Favoritism. Everyone for themselves mentality. Will not be up front or honest in interview. Very high turn around. The Onboarding process is horrendous. My first 3 weeks were sitting around doing nothing. I was not given a buddy had literally no one to reach out to. Took 3 weeks to get a laptop and cell phone. HR is not helpful at all. Be ready to get the I don’t know the answer try looking it up from HR. When I asked the lead for assistance due to being overwhelmed with no training only after being there for 2 months I was told that they won’t always be able to help when I ask for it.
