Pros

The ability to advance and grow with the company. The leadership of the company is very key also. Jamie Dimon is doing a great job to keep the JPMC above the rest. There has not been many job cuts or disastrous news, which is great since we are in an economy that is very sensitive right now.

Cons

There is much to learn when you first start. Not everything is laid out for you and sometimes you have to take the initiative and go out to find your own answers It maybe overwhelming at time.

Pros

Renumeration, job prospects and corporate name. Compensation is much better than my previous employers (US Software vendor) and bonuses are a perk. The opportunity to move about within the same company but to a massive number of different roles is also a great situation to be in. The general nature of managers and management is helpful, even in these hard times.

Cons

In some technology areas, there are too many 'managers' - in name or actual job roles - but not enough individuals to do the work.

Pros

Large company and positive name recognition

Cons

The technology is poor and a hybrid of the Bank One merger
