Pros

Cabs facility and security. Sodexo card and Cafe Relaxed morning timings (but there is no fixed time when you can leave the office)

Cons

1. If u can butter up your manager, then it's s best company to join. 2. No fair process in the year end review 3. At the time of hiring, HR will paint a picture that you will be getting high bonus and benefits. In reality, it won't be even a single digits percentage of what mentioned at the hiring time. 4. Micromanagement and EDs note down the employee in/out time, lunch/snacks break duration. 5. Anyone can give any review for you and you will need to explain it. Creates a unnecessary competition between peers and same level peers are asked to give the review anonymously. 6. No work life balance. Working here is like you are a animal, and your manager can call you and ask you to work at 1am also. 7. Just the maintenance work and nothing new to learn or to code. 8. Even if the employee has met a serious accident, they would still expect the employee to come to office and work for them. Else they will take it out in your year end review. 9. Managers don't have the guts to say anything about you in your face, but will go around and tell about you all bad and incorrect things in front of everyone when you are not around. 10. For India employees, the meetings are always scheduled at late night which are of comfortable time for other regions. The meeting timings should be equally well balanced for all the regions involved. 11. Employee are expecting to not have any personal life even after working hours and weekends and can be asked to work on weekends (with no extra appreciation or benefits)

Pros

Latest technologies, Pay is decent, Nice canteen and facilities, cab drops, company reputation.

Cons

Depending on the team, work-life balance can be horrible, like in my case. Never left office before 11 PM. Some work till 3 AM. HRs have no idea of work culture in a particular team. "Rarely you may have to stay a bit late" - is what they'd say before joining - Total BS. Managers form opinion even before you've started delivering. Lots of bias towards certain employees. Some employees are always right, some are always wrong. You'll be ignored deliberately in meetings. Your efforts will be ridiculed if you're not liked. Very unpredictable behavior from Manager. You get shouted for doing something one day, and for not doing the same thing other day. Reporting to multiple bosses - Each has their own agenda, mostly contradicting with each other. most of the time you get confused on what direction to take. Too much bureaucracy - to get a simple job done, there is a lot of process and approvals involved. Most of times you feel that you're chasing processes than getting work done. If something is successful, your Manager takes credit, something goes wrong - you're responsible. Too many meetings - most of them useless, you spend more than half day and most of your productive time in useless meetings. There are many more, but that's it for now.

Pros

A lot of good things here. Decent pay, good bonus, great financial services problems to solve and make an impact with your work in banking and consequently in business world. The management has amazing leaders at the top right from CEO to level 5. No wonder this company is growing leaps and bounds and making a big difference in financial services world.

Cons

Work timings - With the overlap needed to work with US team it means most teams work from 12 PM to 9 PM ...which means by the time you get home, family is sleeping. For some people it doesn't matter, for some it does...for those who it does, it will impact your life in a non-subtle way. Figure out how you want to deal with it before you join. It means for 5 days your evenings are toast. But on the other hand it gives a lot of time at the start of the day to pursue your interests but the family is hardly at home during that time. That has been the only 1 big single con with this job.
