Pros

High profile company, lots of exposure to different types of projects.

Cons

Erratic management and uneven cultures across the company as it is created from the acquisition of many smaller companies. Too much focus on the bottom line and not enough on quality creates a culture of stressed out employees, although some units are better than others, especially the ones that are in profitable, high margin areas (e.g. advertising tracking).

The old Ipsos is gone...the new leadership is extremely toxic

Pros

When I started at Ipsos in 2017, there was a certain comradery to the teams. People trusted each other, tried out new things, and weren't afraid to fail because it was an environment of learning opportunities and bosses having the backs of the teams. Since 2022, everything has changed. And it started with the new CEO Lorenzo, but unfortunately we have another CEO and things only continue to get worse.

Cons

The leadership has turned Ipsos into a sales organization like Kantar. It's cutthroat, extremely political, and you get fired if you speak up. All of the strong leaders who actually had integrity have been let go. And the C-Suite, even including the Head of HR, are bullies who are only thinking about themselves. You can't trust anyone anymore. Leaders are stressed and don't have time for training their staff. It's AWFUL. Promotions are weak at best - I don't know anyone who received a fair salary increase with their promotion.
