Pros

Surrounded by thought-leaders in the industry - everyone on client service and marketing science teams are extremely capable and intelligent. With so many research firms out there, it's great to work for one that is so large, yet well-respected within the industry.

Cons

Long hours, especially during 4th quarter. Slow to hire new people at times. Work/life balance can be an issue.

Overworked, underpaid.

Pros

Good, reputable and leading market research company. Interesting work at times.

Cons

Management took too long to realise and implement actions to improve work conditions for their employees. No paid overtime yet lower level employees are expected to work long hours by team managers and directors (similar hours to what the senior staff work except the latter get double/treble the salary).

Pros

-you'll go as far as you're motivated to go. -you'll have access to senior management whenever you want it. -the people that work at this company are amazing, smart, dedicated and friendly. -it's a safe place to work in that they don't rush to downsize if things get bad. -very flexible managers and potential for work-life balance. -working remotely some days is not an issue. -impeccable client orientation.

Cons

-some of the work gets a bit routine. though they intend to rotate people on and off accounts every few years to keep the people fresh, i haven't seen it. -it can be difficult at the lower levels to get a sense of the company's health, which always makes new clients a surprise. this makes it difficult to get a sense of momentum for the company future. -the 401k matching is common, but a little weak.
