Working hours are not stable with little room for moving up, to gain a salary that complies with ones' educational background. The establishment is not well kept (i.e. dirty, dusty, recirculated air through uncleaned ventilation system), desks are placed in an isolated fashion from fellow coworkers as well. Management, with managerial skills, lacks tremendously in the *Montreal coding department as well with supervisors who deal with coders from outside of the Quebec Province on a daily basis (Winnipeg). In short there are issues with communicating projects ( i.e. work specifications), unclear assigned tasks to coders from their supervisors and proper training environments. With this being said, there is a limited amount for motivation.
