Frustrating at times

Pros

I enjoy how diverse the team is, for once in my entire career I don't have to deal with microaggressions! Sad, but definitely a pro of the teams I've worked with. I like the opportunities I've been given but a lack of dependable folk actually advocating my goals towards promotion have entirely fallen off.

Cons

Promoting/review system in place that's really just there leading you to burnout or leave you super frustrated. A whole lot of not prioritizing the right people and VERY poor boundaries with work life especially if you are a people pleaser. but if you're not a people pleaser they still won't recognize your hard work. Transparency is something they say they care about but then you'll quickly notice there's clusters of hush-hush and everyone is secretly doing their own thing.

Pros

Ipsos has a good reputation in the industry as a market leader. It is a great name to get on your resume as it will open doors with other companies down the road. The benefits are very respectable at Ipsos. Good 401k, medical options, and hr has put in place some decent new policies around work from anywhere around the world for a month.

Cons

The company is a slow moving behemoth on just about everything and behind the times technology wise. The sales force currently has no crm which makes it impossible not to trip over other sales colleagues or divisions of Ipsos on deals. Leadership in my experience at Ipsos was poor and unresponsive on multiple issues. The people in charge at Ipsos are more interested in making their financial numbers look good than developing the people below them. Ipsos has raised its pricing significantly over the last 12 months resulting in clients going to other market research firms as they refuse to pay the premium Ipsos wants to charge.
