Pros

Provides a great balance of work and personal life. Intuit really cares about their employees and gives them numerous learning and advancement opportunities. My immediate manager does a great job of communicating the company's goals and responsibilities. He allows those he manages to work out their own issues, but is also available whenever you need issues that a manager is supposed to deal with.

Cons

Some of the management needs to be more responsive to the needs and suggestions of their employees. Intuit seems to be stuck in the past in terms of it's technological identity. They need to take their employees feedback and put it into practice.

Pros

The people you work with. Friendly atomosphere. No problems with bigots. Very diverse

Cons

There's a big push to outsource jobs on all levels - except the Board and CEO of course Lots of layoff of the most experience people. It's one thing to let slackers go but many of the former employees were some of our best. Upper management seems to be chopping off the employees with the most experience and the highest pay. Huge surprise, huh.

Pros

Good work-life balance while still experiencing a fast past, results oriented culture. The overall quality of your peers is strong (you won't work with turkey's) and the customer demand is very high (your products will ship and be widely used). Cross business unit and geographical site standards are consistent making for trust across the wider organization.

Cons

Larger company means that there are always competing initiatives and too many stakeholders to involve in every decision and change. The Tax organization has a rather large ego and tends to throw their weight around such that it disrupts more general technical progress.
