Pros

- Used to have generous comp, but that has declined significantly - Flexible desks (so you'd play hunger games of desks each morning in MTV campus)

Cons

1. Silent lay-offs of 10% workforce every year 2. The reason for above is because mgmt's long term plans fail and change every year. Sasan should fire himself 3. Mediocre, non-technical mgmt forms a cartel and only save each other from next round of layoffs 4. You would learn nothing here. The level of blatant politics and bootlicking I saw made me feel I was back at high school, instead of working with mature professionals 4. I have seen new employees that were hired just so they could be laid off 6 months later. So managers could save their mediocre favorites from lay-offs BEWARE. Don't ruin your career and youth on this

Pros

Pay is decent, free snacks, and SOME people are good people.

Cons

Extremely political and toxic work environment. Teams consist of cliques and managers who will do anything to keep their jobs and RSUs. Across the board, there is poor management at every level. Intuit more toxic than Amazon. The only way to survive is by compromising your integrity and kissing your managers butt.

Pros

Intuit, as a company, emphasizes the importance of employee growth and development. The promotion process at Intuit is designed to reward high performers, which encourages a positive and productive work environment. By recognizing and promoting employees based on their performance, Intuit fosters a sense of motivation and engagement among its workforce. This merit-based approach helps ensure that promotions are fair and well-deserved, creating opportunities for career advancement for those who consistently demonstrate strong work ethic and achieve results.

Cons

When an employee is promoted to a higher role, it often comes with increased responsibilities and higher expectations. Successfully transitioning into this new role is crucial, as failure to meet the expectations associated with the higher position can have serious consequences, including potential layoffs. Increment in promotion is also very low. You get promoted to higher role but there is not much change in compensation.
