      Flexible hours but lack of training and incentives

      Pros

      Work from home, flexible hours with 20 hour min requirement, 36 hour requirement for tax peak.

      Cons

      Not enough training, more like a call center help customer from using the product to preparing tax returns, not enough incentives this year or spotlight rewards, lost a lot of time with my family and because I didn’t meet 1 day requirement for the 36 hours they did not “qualify” me for the $1,300 end of season bonus. I had a funeral to go to on one of those days so I lost $1,300. Don’t forget that the customer is not right at least not this year.

      Stocks are almost 50% down in last 6 months. Do not join quickbooks payroll Management hierarchy is not employee friendly Old school managers who micromanage Politics for every petty thing

      Pros

      You can still find more easy going positions, interviews are not very difficult, and speed tends to be slower. Benefits are relatively good. Compensation is relative to expectations. Career opportunities are alright.

      Cons

      Over the last few years there has been a lot of turnover in management, and new management has cleaned out house and brought in their own employees. Stack ranking is common, AI used for everything (even manager feedback often consists of AI generated bullet points) and managers demand any AI project even if its pointless to meet their quotas for innovaiton. There are not enough resources provided for the expectations placed on certain teams. Team dependent. Compensation is mid. Mid tier company that thinks its better than it is. Work is pretty boring.
