      The IIS Business Unit (Corporate Security) is awful

      Pros

      The company overall is amazing. Generally all of the people at the company are highly skilled. Stay out of the IIS Business unit and you will love this place.

      Cons

      Politics within the engineering part of IIS business unit are over bearing. Directors micromanage. Directors are more worried about butts in seats than results. Directors will actively attempt block you from moving to other BU. Engineering part of IIS does not do world class work. It is focused on a small select few individuals pet projects. Everyone else is there to do the grunt work they do not wish to do.

      Pros

      Have worked with Intuit for 15 months and can sense that this company is doing very good with its technology by inventing lot of new ways/product to make customer life easy. Intuit take care of its employees very well by creating - Good work life balance environment. Very good support by the management if you ready to any challenges.

      Cons

      I think there should be more processes when it comes to work. So any major releases are done in controlled manner. May be good to take some service based company culture.
