Pros
This is a multi-national corporation which bought out PSI in order to increase their construction testing market share in the US. I can't speak to the other divisions or world locations, only to the PSI side of the equation. As far as pros, if geotechnical or construction materials testing is your area of interest, plenty of opportunities exist to learn on a daily basis.
Cons
If Intertek feels that quality is the utmost goal, why did they downsize the quality assurance department by nearly 50% this year? And this with the feeling that they bought PSI without the slightest inkling of what PSI did on a daily basis or how they billed their clients.
