Pros

Very friendly colleagues, nice break room with venders

Cons

Mandatory 1.5 hours unpaid over time every night (an entire unpaid days work a week!). Completely illogical system to get things done. Nonsensical paperwork that MUST be filled out. Forced to do the exact same thing (pouring agar) for 9.5 hours, yet not allowed to talk between yourselves to stave off a mental breakdown! Constantly being told different things by different people.

Pros

Twenty words just to say that the only pro of working here is the flexible hours it has to offer.

Cons

I haven't received any feedback on performance whilst being here yet I earn the company £30,000 net profit a month. Other employees do very little in terms of work and rely on others too much. Staff hired on a friends and family basis rather than being assessed on transferable skills. The work is often repetitive and offers no scope for career development. Low paying company.

Pros

Good benefits, pleasant rural location in SW LA, low cost of living in this region, local middle and regional division management are competent. This is a good company to begin you career at, but not to advance within.

Cons

Poor training,do not expect useful training unless self directed, diminishing use of whats left of the remaining institutional knowledge, antiquated equipment, equipment failures quite common due to lack of experienced technical support persons, zero opportunity for advancement, the LA organization is set up to serve the local "inner circle" of coworkers who all know each other. You will be in the job you started at, years later unless you graduated HS or you are related to someone in supv. role.
